Dear Mateo,

It has been said that a person will change most during his 1st year. :) Your first year was almost a blur which is why we are glad that we captured your smile on a daily basis for 365 days! Would you believe that your dad made sure that we captured your 1st year and insisted that we take DAILY pictures of you during your first year! :)

I'm pretty sure you got tired of your paparazzi parents :) Now, as a toddler it is a bit harder to make you pose for us!

Pa shy effect ka pa! :). So this morning, I gave you a small lecture on posing 101 :)

We started out by taking pictures of your "friends"

LoveNotes

How did you spend your hearts day? :)

Mine felt like a week long food trip bonanza... :) After all the craziness, I just want to write down my thoughts about ... LOVE :)

Have I turned into mush? Highly unlikely :)

I just know that love is an amazing thing and there is so much for everyone :) I want to (again) thank my support system and my love ones for making life worthwhile :)

Errands, things to do etc do make me crazy every now and then. I have been a bit overwhelmed lately and I sometimes just need a breather.

Just when I am about to crash, I find myself watching my little boy sleeping so peacefully and he makes me feel all better again :) I am blessed.

I look out the window of Mateos room and see the garden and I feel so lucky living in such a peaceful and beautiful place.

I am surrounded with so much love and I just want to thank all of you for continuously being by Angels. Thank you for making me laugh and keeping me sane. Thank you for your unconditional love. Thank you for your hugs. Thank you for all the kind words and the not so kind ones that you need to say to make me better :) Thank you for all the love :)

And I want to share this sonnet to everyone :) I know all of you can relate to this. We have loved or love a person where words are not enough :)
