Delayed Morning Sickness

Hello my little baby boy :) How are you? You are 26 weeks old today! You are a lot more active now! You like tumbling around your little room and poking me! You are usually very quiet when I work but quite playful whenever i am trying to get some sleep! Are you preparing me for the sleepless nights? :)

The downside now is that I have delayed morning sickness. I feel bad in the morning. Nauseated, heatburn and dizziness... :( It can take a toll sometimes and there are days thats more difficult than others. Work has been a bit depressing too :( The only thing that is making me smile is you and your daddy trying to cheer me up.

On the brighter side, we started shopping for your stuff already! :) Your Lola H and I went to Rustans and she bought you lots and lots of stuff! It was a bit challenging to find tiny tops and pjs for you little baby! :) Daddy and I also went shopping the week after. Your Tita C also sent me lots of stuff from your cousin L's loot when she was younger! :) Now we only have to decide on your crib... :)

Hello Little Baby Boy!

Rafa? Marcus? :) Daddy and I are still debating for the perfect name for our perfect little boy!

Mommy had her Congenital Anomaly Screening last week and now we now that you are a boy! Everyone was so excited and they even bet on what your gender will be :) Most of the people around me guessed wrong :)

I was a bit bored at work so I decided to to the ultrasound 2 days ahead of schedule. The Sonologist immediately asked me if I wanted to find out and I said yes :) She pointed out to me the "turtle-sign" which proved that you are indeed male :) I was so excited and happy especially that everything is okay with you! We counted 10 fingers, 10 toes etc :) The OB-Sonologist was kind enough to show me 4D pictures of you! You look so adorable! :) I still cant stop staring at your picture which is now the screensaver for dad's and mom's phones :)

In a few months I will finally hold you and Daddy will take more pictures of you! We cant wait :) I can feel you movement more now and i can see you at times! :) Daddy can even feel you inside me! Exciting times! The only downside is mommy is getting fat... :)

16 weeks and 6 days :)

Hi Baby! :) How are you? :) We just past the first trimester! Congratulations baby! :)

I think today is the first time i felt you move! I was just bumming around the recep area of the clinic and when I stood up, I suddendly felt a fast stabbing pain on my tummy! Could it be you saying hello? :) Well, hello to you to my little one :)

Its been almost a month since I last blogged about you. Updates : I went to your tita Sherry to have my first prenatal check up and thank God everything is A-OK :) She was so amused that I had my own doppler and nice baby book to track your growth! :)

I just know that you are growing as you should :) Mommy's tummy suddenly got bigger! People can definitely see my baby bump! :) Daddy and your cousin took pictures of me and my tummy recently! Definitely time to slather on the lotion!!! :)

I really can't wait for me to hold you in my arms baby :) But I know that you have to stay inside of me to grow :)

almost 13 weeks old

hi baby :) how are you? :) i hope you are healthy and doing fine inside my uterus :) i still can't believe that you are growing inside me little one :) you are almost 13 weeks old! :)

your mom is back at work but i promise that i'm taking it easy :) i know i have to take care of my body especially now that you are inside of me. i have been trying to eat well... :) and taking my prenatal vitamins too!

thank you for not making me feel sick all the time :) the only thing that i had to contend with was excessive sleepiness but i am kinda over that now :)

people are starting to guess if you are a girl or a boy :) im confused as well :) but whatever it is, im just ecstatic to have you in my life! i listen to your heartbeat everyday!!!

i believe that you are God's gift to me and your dad :) you are much loved! from day one when i told your titas and lolo and lola about you... they loved you from day one! everyone is so excited for your arrival!

anyway, i just have to tell you that i am starting to have my baby bump!!! daddy has to start taking pictures of my belly :) good thing your tita che and tita joey has donated tons of maternity clothes! i;ll have more moolah to buy you baby stuff!

Pesky SCH gone!

A week ago we went to the OB-sonologist and lo and behold... the clot is gone! Thank you Lord! :)

9 5/7 weeks old

hi baby :)

You are almost 10 weeks old and the last ultrasound that I had showed that you are getting bigger! :) I almost cried when i saw you wriggling inside of me. You looked like a peanut and measured 2.81 cms already! I'm so proud of you! The pesky hematoma is still your neighbor but its starting to shrink! You are now bigger than it and I know that you and I will win this war :)

Your dad and I have been constantly praying for your safety and we can't wait to see you and hold you in our arms.

Just a few days ago we were "discussing" about your schooling already... funny but its true. :) We both agreed that you will go to a progressive play school before entering the big school :) We are just so excited for you!

As for your mommy, I was still recommended to take it easy until the hematoma resolves. I can do that for you :) I have gained a pound already but I know its all you :) Thank you for not making me sick all the time! No puking everywhere... just mild nausea which I can control with crackers :) And for your future reference, I am fond of eating strawberry yoghurt, dalandan juice and fruits! And the weather is making me drink water like crazy! (Its sooo hot!)

Weekend scare...

Sigh...

I wasnt feeling too well last thursday so i decided to have myself checked. (i know i am such a deliquent patient). But in a way it was a blessing indisguise that I had myself checked as tthe sonologist found a moderate subchorionic bleed in my uterus. The bad news was it was definitely not small but at least it was bit too near my precious baby :)

I was crying like a baby after and I called my RE and OB and they decided that it was a good idea for me to be admitted to the hospital.

Three days I spent in the hospital was not an easy one. The IV was a pain and boredom can really kill me... and the worst thing was the didnt allow me to travel home to my province for the Holy Week and was ordered complete bedrest for two weeks...

Anything for my little precious pod... :)
